Busy, Busy, Busy

So, I managed to get this new blog of to a flying start with great gusto but what happened the last couple of days????

Well work has been busy, I've been working extra and Graham has been on night shift so things have been rather hectic around here.

I've also been getting stuck into researching my family tree, and have been getting excited with each new piece of info I have found. There is a great download available from My Heritage, that is so easy to use for compiling your own family tree.......but BEWARE- once you start, its addictive and hard to stop.

Anyhow, back to what I love best of all - CRAFTING! Just have time to let you see a couple of tea-bag folding cards I have made. These are again downloads available rfom Ruby's Teabag Tiles (I'll get her link up later, promise). She has some fantastic mini kits available for download for any occasion and at great prices. Thanks Ruby xx

Chocolate Chops .......Who me?

This has to be one of my fav. snaps of my wee boy, Conor. It was taken when he was just ickle. It's sometimes hard to believe that he's 5yrs old now and actually at school.

Don't you think he looks a wee bit like Charlie Drake???? LOL

I just love .....

Polly Craft Designs. Paula recently had to withdraw all her designs from Ebay due to new downloading media regulations but never fear....she has opened her own shop. You can be sure to find a design to suit any occasion for instant download.

A special friend knew how much I loved Paula's designs, that she bought a CD from Paula and gave it to me.....Thank you both.

I just wanted to show off a couple of cards I have made ....... whatcha thinks????

Friends.........

I just wanted to share a little card I got from a very good friend, Pam, for helping her with her daughter Kiera's birthday craft party. To tell you the truth....I think I had more fun than the kids.

Pam has just recently started crafting (my sidekick) and has caught the crafting bug bad......I just hope she doesn't blame me for being skint! LOL

I love your cards Pam and all the ideas you share with me. Thanks for being my crafting buddy & friend.

Race for Life

OK so I have now officially signed up for the Race for Life.
My daughter Cali (7yrs) , Victoria & Gillian (work mates) and myself are going to be taking part in the Race for Life at Camperdown Park, Dundee on Sun 15th June. I might even wear some fairy wings...hehehehe!

I am not the fittest person (ok understatement - I am SO UNFIT) so I'm more likely to be walking instead of running.

It is all women and girls taking part raise money for Cancer Research. It is a charity very close to my heart. I have two aunties (sisters) who have been affected by breast cancer, a very dear friend Melissa in USA (who is bravely fighting breast cancer at the moment) and a very dear friends Janet & Jeff also in USA (husband and wife both with cancer).

If anyone would like to sponsor me and the girls (Pwetty Pwease), there is a little widget to the right hand side of the blog for donations.

Any donations will be gratefully received from the bottom of my heart (and trainers by the end of it, LOL!)

A sunny hello

I'm very new to this blog malarky but thought I'd give it a go and see how it turns out. I'm hopeful that it might even encourage me to spend a little more time crafting so I can "show off" some of my creations.

Welcome to a little part of my world...........
